After four years as a company (and many milestones along the way), SparkCognition is opening up our doors to host our first summit: Time Machine. This two-day event in our home base of Austin, Texas will give those attending a glimpse into the future of AI, through the eyes of Fortune 500 executives, professors, and industry thought leaders.
We’re beyond excited to share our work and collectively construct a vision for the field during the summit. Here’s a quick list of a few of the things we’re particularly looking forward to:
(Haven’t bought tickets yet? Don’t worry, there’s still time!)
- A fireside Q&A chat with a Marine Corps General
General John Allen, retired Marine Corps General and Executive Board Member at SparkCognition, will be delivering a keynote on AI and military policy followed by a fireside chat with our CEO, Amir Husain. The two collaborated on the thought-provoking article On Hyperwar, so start thinking of questions now to ask a seasoned wartime commander and an AI expert. - Seeing how different industries use AI
Artificial intelligence is changing the game for companies across the board. Hear stories from the Technical Director of Google, the CTO of Boeing, and the Chief Technology Architect of State Street on how AI is making a difference at their companies. (Click here to see the complete speaker lineup.) - Demonstrations galore
Although hearing testimonials about millions of dollars in ROI is fascinating, we know the best part of tech conferences is playing with gadgets. We will have a demonstration area with our flight simulators, a Makerarm, and other cool toys in development to explore AI’s future possibilities. - Magic tricks (literally)
We’re not an all-work-and-no-play kind of company, so attendees can expect some fun surprises during the summit. In addition to “technically funny” comedian Don McMillan, Brad Henderson will be performing magic tricks –– though unlike our AI, they won’t be explainable. - Storytime with Amir and Paul Scharre
Little-known fact about our President and CEO, Amir Husain: He has an incredibly soothing voice. He will be reading from his hot-off-the-presses book The Sentient Machine, which addresses how humans can thrive in the age of AI, while Paul Scharre will discuss his forthcoming publication, Army of None: Autonomous Weapons and the Future of War. There will also be a Q&A session following each––and it may even be possible to get a signed copy. - Special product announcement
What is it? We’re not at liberty to say, yet. But suffice to say our illustrious family of products is growing, and our cutting-edge technology will soon provide another way to help customers solve problems at scale.
Time Machine is just a few days away, and we can’t wait to show what we’ve been working on. Click here to buy tickets.
